Most furniture retailers supply at least part of their range of furniture Flat Packed. To them this makes sense as assembled furniture is expensive to transport. For many people assembling the furniture at home is a nightmare. This website will, we hope, help you with building your furniture by answering some of the more common questions people have when they come to build Flatpack furniture. We are now trying to pull together on a single site contact details of some of the best assemblers in the UK to help you.
It is difficult to tell you how much it would cost for one of our fitters to come to your home to assemble your furniture as the cost will very depending on the type make and model of the furniture you have purchased and where you live. For example it could cost from £25 to over £ 50 to assemble a wardrobe. Unfortunately the cost of the furniture does not reflect the cost of assembly. The fitters advertising on this site are a lose co-operative of small independent traders who have got together to bring you a service which, we hope, will soon be nation wide. Our assemblers are always happy to talk to you about your furniture and can often give you an idea of the cost of assembly before you purchase it.
